Welcome to Our Life

Here we are in south Fl. building on the life that God has blessed us with. With just one child left in the house my husband is reveling in the quiet, calmness while I am wondering what the next few years will bring, when my little girl turns into a teenager and begins her own journey through life. We're a homeschool family with two girls (my step daughters) already grown and on their own and our ten year old daughter, of course, still being homeschooled and plugging right along. We're not the huge family that I see so much of on these blogs. We won't be adopting any children or adding to our numbers, but we have our own mission going on. A few years ago we moved my mentally retarded sister in with us, as my mother is getting up there in age and she can't care for Maria the way she needs. It's a different life, committing to a disabled person, but the rewards are great and I wouldn't have it any other way. Check out our pictures and get to know us a bit.
